Baliadiya Union is a significant union of Mohammadpur upazila. Geographically, the importance of the Ballyadia Union is immense. Economically, the importance of this union is immense. Mahmudpur Upazila is mainly dependent on rice and spice crops produced by Ballydia Union. Though most of the people of this union are related to agriculture, people of other occupations are also not less.
